NexyaHR is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of an international technology organization seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join its growing Artificial Intelligence team in Barcelona.This is an outstanding opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about designing and deploying production-ready AI solutions. You will contribute to the development of innovative products powered by Machine Learning, Generative AI and Large Language Models while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced international environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping AI capabilities across multiple business domains, delivering scalable, secure and high-performance solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and deploy enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence solutions.Build and optimize Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for production environments.Develop applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.Build AI-powered assistants and autonomous AI agents.Develop scalable APIs and AI services using Python.Deploy AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).Build and maintain MLOps pipelines to automate model training, deployment and monitoring.Collaborate with Software Engineering, Data Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.Optimize AI models for performance, scalability and reliability.Ensure solutions follow security, governance and responsible AI best practices.Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Data Engineering.Advanced programming skills in Python.Professional experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar Machine Learning frameworks.Hands-on experience developing solutions using Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral or equivalent).Experience with Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or comparable AI orchestration frameworks.Experience working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus or ChromaDB.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerised deployments.Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent stakeholder communication skills.Mandatory LanguagesSpanish — Native or C2 level (mandatory)English — C2 level (mandatory)Nice to HaveExperience building AI Agents and Agentic AI solutions.Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs and GraphRAG.Experience with NVIDIA AI technologies.Experience with Computer Vision, NLP or Recommendation Systems.Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow or Vertex AI.Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.What’s On OfferOpportunity to work for a leading international organization.Competitive salary package.Hybrid working model based in Barcelona.Annual performance bonus.Private health insurance.Learning and professional certification budget.Access to cutting-edge AI technologies.International and collaborative working environment.Long-term career development opportunities.Flexible working arrangements.Why Apply?Artificial Intelligence continues to redefine industries across the globe, creating exceptional demand for highly skilled AI professionals.
