The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI models and tools that support travel-related operations, such as optimizing workflows, enhancing customer experiences, and improving decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training machine learning and neural network models, implementing natural language processing solutions for travel data and customer interactions, and integrating AI components into existing software systems. The role involves collaborating with software developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, refine algorithms, and ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions. The AI Engineer will also monitor model performance, perform pattern recognition analysis on large datasets, and apply best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for building and optimizing AI and machine learning models.Practical skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), particularly for text analysis, conversational interfaces, and travel-related data.Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python, Java, or C++) and experience with relevant ML frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, and model evaluation techniques.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment practices for AI solutions is an advantage, as is exposure to travel or tourism industry systems.
