Day-to-day responsibilities include developing algorithms, training and evaluating models, implementing production-grade software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into applications. The role involves data preprocessing, feature engineering, performance tuning, and ensuring model robustness, fairness, and security. The AI Engineer will document technical work, participate in code reviews, and contribute to experimentation and prototyping for new AI capabilities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tokyo, Japan.
