Backed by strong early traction and a lean, high-performing team, they're looking for an AI Engineer to help shape the intelligence layer behind their product line.About the RoleYou'll join a small, senior engineering team building AI capabilities that sit directly on top of connected hardware devices — from data pipelines and model integration through to deployment in real-world, mission-critical environments. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants outsized ownership.What You'll DoDesign, build, and deploy LLM-powered features and agentic workflows into productionWork with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and related tooling to connect AI systems to internal and external data sourcesBuild and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure on AWS and/or AzureCollaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to bring AI capabilities to edge/connected devicesOwn projects end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment — from prototype to productionWhat You'll BringStrong Python skills, with hands-on experience building LLM-based applicationsPractical experience with MCP or comparable agent/tool-orchestration frameworksSolid cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure) — deployment, infrastructure, and scaling AI workloadsStartup experience, ideally in an early-stage or high-growth environment with high autonomyExposure to hardware-integrated products (IoT, edge devices, embedded systems, or similar) is a strong plusComfort working across ambiguity, with a bias toward shippingWhat's on OfferGround-floor opportunity with a company building category-defining hardware/AI productsHigh autonomy and direct influence on product directionCompetitive compensation package
