Employment Type: Part-Time / Project-BasedEngagement: Based on project requirements and deliverablesAbout the RoleTalent Studio is looking for a capable and hands-on AI Engineer to support us on a project-based basis.

The role will involve working on selected AI and automation projects, helping translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working on different challenges, experimenting with AI technologies, and delivering practical solutions without the commitment of a full-time role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement AI/ML solutions based on project requirements.Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and AI APIs.Build AI-powered features, tools, workflows and automations.Integrate AI solutions with existing applications, platforms and third-party APIs.Develop and test prototypes and proof-of-concepts.Work with data to support AI model development and solution improvement.Troubleshoot, optimise and improve AI solutions based on project feedback.Collaborate with the Talent Studio team and other technical/non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements.Document solutions, processes and technical implementations where required.Stay updated with emerging AI tools, frameworks and technologies and recommend relevant solutions.Requirements2+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering or a related technical field.Hands-on experience with Python and AI/ML development.Experience working with LLMs, Generative AI or AI APIs.Familiarity with frameworks/tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face or similar technologies.Experience integrating APIs and building backend services.Understanding of databases, data processing and basic cloud technologies.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of project deliverables.Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced and project-driven environment.Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is practical, curious and solution-oriented — someone who can look at a business problem, identify where AI can add value, and build a working solution rather than simply explore the technology.The workload will vary depending on active projects, making this suitable for an AI Engineer looking for part-time, freelance or project-based opportunities.Interested?
