Joining New Startup means contributing to a growing, product-focused environment with room to influence both technology and strategy.Role Description As an AI Engineer at New Startup, you will design, develop, and deploy AI models that improve search, recommendations, and personalization within the travel platform. You will work on pattern recognition and neural network–based solutions to enhance route optimization, pricing insights, and user behavior analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, implementing machine learning and NLP models, and integrating these solutions into production-grade software systems. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and data specialists to test, refine, and monitor AI-driven features. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarajevo.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and version control.Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with experience building and training machine learning models.Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) for search, recommendations, or conversational interfaces.Working knowledge of Python or similar programming languages, and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and document work thoroughly.Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and data processing tools is a plus, especially in travel or e-commerce domains.
