You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to transform business challenges into practical AI solutions, contributing to the continued growth of Octane’s fleet management and digital payments ecosystem.What You'll Be DoingDesign, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions to address business and operational challenges.Build and integrate AI-powered features into existing products, applications, and internal workflows.Develop, test, and optimize machine learning models based on business requirements and available data.Explore and implement generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), where relevant to business needs.Work with structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, generate insights, and support intelligent automation.Collaborate with data and software engineering teams to prepare data pipelines and integrate AI models into production systems.Apply best practices in model evaluation, monitoring, security, and responsible AI implementation.Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation.Key Areas of OwnershipAI & Machine Learning DevelopmentGenerative AI & LLM IntegrationData Processing & Model OptimizationAI Deployment, Integration & MonitoringCross-Functional CollaborationWhat We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.3–6 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or a related technical role.Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model training, evaluation, and optimization.Experience building and deploying AI or machine learning models in production environments.Familiarity with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Experience working with APIs, databases, data processing pipelines, and software integration.Understanding of data quality, model performance, scalability, and responsible AI practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.If you’re excited about building intelligent solutions, applying AI to real-world business challenges, and contributing to innovative products at a fast-growing company, we’d love to hear from you.Send us your updated resume to hr@octane-tech.io with the subject line "AI Engineer".
