AI Engineer – Copilot Studio & Azure AI Foundry

We’re seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our Copilot Studio & Azure AI Foundry practice for a 6-month engagement. You will design, build, and operationalize enterprise AI solutions—no-code, low-code and pro-code—working closely with business and data teams to deliver conversational AI, knowledge assistants, and workflow automation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design and delivery of AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.Build prompt engineering strategies, model orchestration, and grounding with enterprise data sources (knowledge bases, vector stores, search).Implement end-to-end AI foundations: evaluation, monitoring, A/B testing, lifecycle management and CI/CD for models and pipelines.Integrate AI solutions securely with Azure services, Entra ID, APIs, SDKs and enterprise data stores.Ensure Responsible AI practices: governance, DLP, privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop workflows.Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions and define standards/best practices.Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical documentation; mentor team members and support knowledge transfer.Required Qualifications8–10 years total IT experience.2–3 years hands-on building AI solutions specifically on Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.Strong Python skills and experience with APIs/SDKs; ability to implement no-code, low-code, and pro-code solutions.Proven experience setting up AI foundations: prompt design, model orchestration, grounding, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.Demonstrable track record delivering enterprise AI use cases (conversational AI, knowledge assistants, workflow automation).Solid understanding of Azure architecture and security (including Entra ID, secure integrations, enterprise data access patterns).Practical knowledge of Responsible AI, governance, DLP, compliance, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop design.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
