AI Engineer (Dubai) - 6 months contract

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft AI Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio/AI Foundry) and Dataiku, along with hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade AI/ML applications, MLOps frameworks, and Generative AI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions in production environments.Build, optimize, and operationalize Machine Learning and Generative AI models using Microsoft AI Foundry.Develop end-to-end AI workflows and pipelines using Dataiku DSS.Implement MLOps best practices including model monitoring, versioning, CI/CD, and automated retraining.Build and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and AI Agents.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.Develop and optimize prompt engineering frameworks for GenAI applications.Ensure AI solutions adhere to security, compliance, governance, and Responsible AI standards.Conduct model performance evaluation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on AI projects.Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft AI Foundry for developing and deploying AI solutions.Extensive experience with Dataiku DSS for data preparation, machine learning model development, and workflow automation.Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as:Scikit-learnTensorFlowPyTorchLangChainExperience developing Generative AI and LLM-based applications.Strong understanding of:Machine Learning algorithmsDeep LearningNatural Language Processing (NLP)Predictive AnalyticsExperience with Azure cloud services including:Azure OpenAIAzure Machine LearningAzure Data ServicesAzure Cognitive ServicesKnowledge of vector databases and semantic search technologies.Experience with API development and integration.Familiarity with MLOps tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Data & AnalyticsStrong understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL pipelines.Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.Required ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.5-7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related technical roles.Proven experience delivering enterprise AI solutions from ideation to production.Hands-on experience in AI model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Azure AI Engineer Associate or related Azure certifications.Dataiku certification(s).Experience with Agentic AI solutions.Experience implementing Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks.Exposure to Data Engineering and Big Data technologies.Key CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.Leadership and mentoring capabilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong focus on innovation and continuous learning.
