AI Engineer Intern

Company Description Shodh AI is a deep-tech company building foundational AI systems for science and industry. Shodh AI’s broader mission is to advance AI from information generation toward real-world scientific and industrial intelligence. Role Description You’ll work on real-world problems involving LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, semantic search, agentic workflows, and structured enterprise data. Your responsibilities will include improving ingestion and retrieval pipelines, evaluating answer quality, reducing hallucinations, and building scalable AI features.What we’re looking for:Strong Python and software engineering fundamentalsExperience with LLM APIs, prompting, RAG, or agent frameworksFamiliarity with vector databases and embeddingsUnderstanding of APIs, databases, and backend systemsCuriosity, ownership, and comfort solving ambiguous problemsExperience with Neo4j, Salesforce, Gemini, FastAPI, or evaluation pipelines is a plus.This is a hands-on internship where you’ll ship production features, run experiments, and work closely with the founding team.
