The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python programming, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Generative AI technologies.As an AI Engineer Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and data scientists to develop, test, and optimize AI-powered applications, including Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent automation solutions, and data-driven systems.This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world AI projects, modern AI frameworks, and emerging technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML models and applications.Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies to build intelligent solutions.Develop and test AI-powered applications using Python and relevant frameworks.Support the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, AI chatbots, and conversational AI systems.Explore prompt engineering techniques to improve LLM accuracy and performance.Assist in integrating AI models with applications through REST APIs.Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis.Experiment with open-source AI models and APIs, including OpenAI, Hugging Face, and other LLM platforms.Support model evaluation, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams on AI-driven projects.Document technical workflows, experiments, and project outcomes.Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.Required Technical SkillsProgramming & DevelopmentGood understanding of Python programming.Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git, and software development practices.Artificial Intelligence & Machine LearningFundamental knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and concepts.Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning.Basic knowledge of Deep Learning and Neural Networks.Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch.Generative AI & LLMsBasic understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models.Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts.Awareness of LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.Basic understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architecture.Data & DatabasesBasic SQL knowledge.Understanding of data preprocessing and data analysis.Familiarity with JSON and structured/unstructured datasets.Good to Have SkillsExperience with OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face Transformers, or open-source LLMs.Exposure to vector databases such as FAISS, ChromaDB, or Pinecone.Understanding of AI agents and agentic workflows.Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Streamlit.Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Understanding of Docker and AI model deployment.Experience with academic projects, personal AI applications, or GitHub contributions.Familiarity with model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and responsible AI practices.QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.Ability to learn new technologies quickly.Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.Passion for Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and emerging technologies.What You Will GainPractical experience developing real-world AI and Generative AI applications.Hands-on exposure to LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and modern AI frameworks.Opportunity to work alongside experienced AI engineers and technology professionals.Experience with AI model integration, testing, evaluation, and deployment.Exposure to industry-standard development practices and collaborative engineering workflows.Opportunity to contribute to innovative AI-driven products and solutions.
