This internship is for students who want to build real, working AI systems: LLM-powered agents, tool-calling workflows, and automation pipelines that run in production, not notebook demos or coursework prototypes.You will work hands-on with the AI layer of a live product, from designing agent behaviour through to shipping it, with direct mentorship from NexCell's senior engineers. Solid Python is essential. Genuine hands-on experience with LLMs is what we are looking for: building agents, automation pipelines, or AI-backed tools, whether through coursework, personal projects, or experiments. Familiarity with any of the following is a strong plus: LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, or similar), agent or orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent), RAG and vector databases, prompt and context engineering, FastAPI, or Git and GitHub workflows.
