AI Engineer Internship

Location: Bengaluru South (Hybrid)Duration: 3 monthsType: Unpaid internship for the first phase, with the opportunity to transition to a paid internship and a full-time role based on performance.About DigitomicsDigitomics is building a Technology ROI Operating System that helps organizations understand, optimize, and prove the value of their cloud, AI, SaaS, network, and infrastructure spend.About the RoleWe’re looking for an AI Engineer Intern who wants to build real AI products, not just experiments.

You’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to develop AI-driven workflows, integrate data sources, and help take features from idea to production.This is a high-ownership, intern-to-hire role. Strong performance over the three-month internship can lead to a full-time AI Engineer position.What you’ll doBuild and improve AI-powered product workflows, agents, and copilots.Work with LLMs, APIs, data pipelines, and structured/unstructured data.Prototype, evaluate, and productionize AI features.Integrate cloud, SaaS, and infrastructure data sources into the platform.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to solve real customer problems.Help improve reliability, accuracy, observability, and cost efficiency of AI systems.What we’re looking forStrong foundations in Python and software engineering.Hands-on interest or experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG, APIs, or data engineering.Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, backend systems, or developer tools is a plus.Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and communicate clearly.Curiosity about AI, infrastructure, FinOps, and technology economics.Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.What you’ll gainDirect ownership of production-oriented AI work.Exposure to cloud infrastructure, AI cost intelligence, and enterprise technology problems.Close collaboration with founders and senior engineers.A clear path to a full-time role based on engineering quality, ownership, and impact.If you enjoy turning AI ideas into useful products, we’d love to hear from you.
