AI Engineer (LLM and RAG) - SCS AI SolutionsFull time · on site in Dubai · 12-month contract · immediate startThe AI engineer designs and builds the AI at the core of the solutions: document understanding, retrieval over policies and documents, classification and AI agents that work inside a client's business processes, with every output traceable and reviewable by a human.What you will doBuild retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent solutions over Arabic and English business documents, policies and customer requests.Build extraction and classification pipelines for incoming documents (applications, reports, invoices, customer requests).Evaluate models for accuracy, hallucination, bias and Arabic quality; set up test sets and acceptance thresholds.Put guardrails in place: grounding with citations, human-in-the-loop review, prompt and model versioning, logging of every AI decision.Deploy on UAE-hosted services (Azure OpenAI in UAE regions or equivalent) and hand over to the client's team.Must haveSignificant experience in machine learning or AI engineering, with production LLM or RAG systems live with real users.Strong Python; experience with Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry, vector search (Azure AI Search or similar) and an orchestration framework (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph or similar).Document AI experience (Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar), including messy scanned PDFs.A structured way of evaluating LLM output (test sets, metrics, regression testing).Already present in the UAE and can start immediately (with 5 days notice).Nice to haveArabic language NLP; experience with Arabic models such as Jais.Microsoft certification AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer).Legal, policy or compliance document work.
