EX Venture Inc. · On-site, Canggu, Bali · 4–6 months · Melbourne as the track afterWhat does it take to bridge a local LLM instance to an internal database, deploy the result to production, and keep it running when the traffic spikes and the notebook is closed? This is an AI engineering internship building production deployments for EX Venture Inc., the operating company whose work you do. EX Venture Inc. builds and runs real model deployment work, and Epic Solutions PT runs the on-site program. This is phase one: getting the right people in to start. What breaks if this is never built: models stay as notebooks, deployments stay fragile, and the people who can run them stay rare. The proof you leave with is a production deployment you built, deployed, and kept alive. Everyone has a degree. Almost nobody has proof. What you buildNot a task list. The thing you build. You build the deployment pipeline that moves a model from a notebook to a running service. You work the inference layer that connects the local model to the internal database and returns clean output under load.A monitoring runbook another person can follow to catch drift and roll back a bad deploy.A production incident log that records what broke, why, and what changed before the next ship. The barA model you deployed outside coursework, with the failure point under real load named.A deployment pipeline another person can run without you in the room. You have made a production service fall over, then brought it back and written the reason down. The judgment to kill a deployment that did not improve the service, even after you built it.Who this is forThis is for engineers and self-taught builders who treat AI tools and production deployments as instruments, not interview answers. You work until the deployment stays up. A failed ship is data, not blame. The work continues until the deploy is boring enough to be reliable.Where you do it — and why hereThirty years building companies — New York, London, Tokyo, the Valley — and then it stopped mattering where the work happened. So the program runs on-site in Canggu, Bali. A modern company costs twelve people and a toolchain — so being wrong six times a year is part of how we build. The campus is 4,000 sqm, and the people who run the companies are on it every day. Monday reset, Friday ship: send what you built. What this location buys is attention, not a view. Epic Solutions PT runs the on-site program in Canggu, Bali. What happens afterSeventeen interns have moved into full-time roles across the group. The path from here runs to a paid role in Melbourne, running production deployments for real work. The internship is step one; paid work is the destination, for the ones who stay. The destination role and its terms are agreed before you commit, never after. Earned, not guaranteed.TermsUnpaid under Indonesian law. A room is available on campus — rent paid by you. Epic Solutions PT hosts the on-site program and assists with the C22B internship visa process; the visa fee is yours. Daily lunch on us. Starting September. Questions about the fit or the timeline? Tell us — we’ll talk you through how the program actually runs.RequirementsA degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent — you have proven you can finish something. A working command of Claude Code, Hermes, or Codex, and the judgment to catch what the AI gets wrong. A thing you built that nobody asked you to make: a model, a service, a deployment, a tool. On-site for the full phase, 4–6 months. How to applyApply via the LinkedIn application field. Submit your CV and the repository.
