AI Events Manager

Note: This role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires you to be in the office 5 days a week. Please DON'T apply if you are not able to do this.I'm hiring an Events & Engagement Manager – AI & Innovation to join a high-profile AI and innovation function within a leading UAE organisation. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role responsible for delivering high-quality events and engagement initiatives that bring together AI, technology, innovation, business and external partners.You'll take ownership of events from concept through to delivery, while also helping build engagement around AI across the wider organisation. You'll work with senior leadership, technology partners, hyperscalers, accelerators, VCs, universities, agencies and other stakeholders to deliver conferences, leadership forums, hackathons, workshops, innovation showcases and partnership initiatives.What you'll be doing:• Manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of corporate, AI, innovation and partnership-focused events• Deliver conferences, leadership forums, hackathons, workshops, innovation showcases, community meetups, university engagements and accelerator programmes• Coordinate venues, catering, registration, guest management, suppliers and all event logistics• Take ownership of onsite event execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup through to close• Manage event agencies, production partners, external vendors and suppliers• Work closely with internal procurement teams to ensure services and materials are delivered on time• Develop internal engagement initiatives around AI, including knowledge-sharing sessions, hackathons and innovation showcases• Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, hyperscalers, accelerators, VCs, academia and other innovation ecosystem partners• Support partnership initiatives, including pilot engagements and technology-focused collaborations• Coordinate high-profile events involving senior executives, leadership teams and external stakeholders• Manage multiple events and competing priorities simultaneouslyWhat we're looking for:• 5-8 years' experience in Event Management, Corporate Events, Conferences, Community Engagement, Stakeholder Engagement, Partnerships, or a similar role• Strong hands-on experience managing events end-to-end, from initial concept and planning through to execution and post-event evaluation• Experience delivering corporate events, conferences, workshops, networking events and community initiatives• Experience working with event management companies, production agencies, suppliers and external vendors• Comfortable coordinating events involving senior executives and high-profile stakeholders• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills• Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple events at the same time• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline• Fluent EnglishNice to have:• Arabic language skills• Experience within AI, technology, innovation or digital transformation environments• Exposure to technology ecosystem partners such as hyperscalers, accelerators, VCs, startups or universities• Experience supporting innovation programmes, accelerator initiatives, hackathons or technology partnershipsWhy join?• Join a high-profile AI and innovation function within a leading UAE organisation• Work at the intersection of AI, technology, events and ecosystem engagement• Build relationships with leading technology companies, innovation partners, accelerators, VCs and universities• Deliver high-visibility events and initiatives involving senior leadership and external partners• Play a key role in increasing AI awareness, engagement and collaboration across the organisationIf you're an experienced events professional who enjoys delivering high-impact events, building strong stakeholder relationships and working within the AI and innovation ecosystem, I'd love to speak with you!
