AI ExpertEmirates Drug Establishment (EDE) is seeking an experienced AI Expert to support the organization’s strategic adoption and application of Artificial Intelligence.This is a senior individual-contributor role reporting directly to the Director General, with a focus on AI strategy, governance, advanced use cases and advisory support across EDE.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise the Director General on AI strategy, opportunities, risks and emerging technologies.Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across regulatory and corporate functions.Design and evaluate Generative AI, machine learning, AI agents and intelligent automation solutions.Establish AI governance, responsible AI and model-risk frameworks.Assess AI platforms, technologies, vendors and implementation partners.Provide technical guidance on AI architecture, data requirements, integration and scalability.Support the development of AI-enabled decision-support and regulatory solutions.Work closely with relevant business, technology, data, cybersecurity and regulatory teams.Track emerging AI developments and assess their relevance to EDE’s mandate.Candidate Profile10+ years of relevant experience in AI, data science, machine learning or advanced technology roles.Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, AI agents and enterprise AI architecture.Demonstrated experience designing or implementing AI solutions at enterprise scale.Strong understanding of data architecture, APIs, cloud environments and AI integration.Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, model evaluation and risk management.Ability to advise senior leadership and translate complex AI topics into actionable recommendations.Experience in government, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or regulated environments would be an advantage.We are looking for an individual with deep AI expertise, strong strategic judgment and the ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical and measurable organizational value.#ArtificialIntelligence #AI #GenerativeAI #MachineLearning #AIJobs #UAE #AbuDhabi #EDE
