AI Facility Operator

Our client is building one of the largest hyperscale AI data center portfolios in North America, and they're moving fast. They're hiring Facility Operators to own infrastructure reliability on live GPU environments: power, cooling capacity, redundancy, and risk. You'll be the on-site authority responsible for keeping the facility up while new capacity is still being brought online around you.What you'll ownInfrastructure risk assessment and mitigation across power and cooling systemsPower distribution and cooling capacity planningRedundancy strategy (2N, N+1, N+2)Change management for high-risk maintenance and critical workOversight of commissioning activities (L1-L5) as new capacity is deliveredEscalation leadership during infrastructure events, from first response through root causeWhat they're looking for5+ years in hyperscale or AI data center environmentsDeep hands-on experience with UPS, generators, chillers, AHUs, and electrical distributionStrong incident leadership and sound decision-making under pressureExperience owning infrastructure reliability, not just supporting itWillingness to work onsite full-time and relocate to the siteNice to have: MOP/SOP/EOP authorship, BMS/EPMS experience, NFPA 70E, colocation or vendor oversight, commissioning experience.Locations: Baton Rouge, LA | New Lebanon, INSchedule: Onsite, 5 days a week.
