AI Faculty

IICT is looking for an AI Faculty who can teach, mentor and guide students in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and applied AI for creative technologies.The role requires someone who can simplify complex AI concepts for learners and connect AI with real-world applications in media, animation, VFX, gaming, design, content creation, XR / VR and digital storytelling.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures, workshops and practical sessions on Artificial Intelligence and related technologies. Teach core AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, NLP, Computer Vision and Generative AI. Conduct hands-on sessions using AI tools relevant to creative industries. Teach students how AI is used in content creation, design, animation, video, gaming, virtual production, storytelling and creative workflows. Guide students on prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows and responsible use of AI tools. Support development and updating of AI curriculum, lesson plans, assignments, case studies and project briefs. Mentor students on AI-based projects, assignments and portfolios. Design and evaluate assessments, quizzes and project submissions. Maintain student progress records and academic documentation. Stay updated with developments in AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI and creative technology. Support seminars, masterclasses, hackathons, student showcases and innovation-led initiatives. QualificationBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Information Technology or related field. PhD in AI / ML / Data Science / Computer Science will be an added advantage. Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Data Science or related areas will be preferred. Experience5–10 years of experience in teaching, training, academic delivery, AI development, AI consulting, research or industry practice. Prior experience teaching AI / ML / Generative AI to students, professionals or creative learners will be preferred. Experience in EdTech, higher education, skilling, media, entertainment, gaming, animation, design, AVGC-XR or creative technology will be an added advantage. Required SkillsStrong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts. Knowledge of Generative AI tools and applied AI workflows. Ability to teach AI concepts clearly to beginner and intermediate learners. Understanding of AI applications in creative industries. Practical knowledge of tools related to text, image, video, audio or design generation. Strong presentation and communication skills. Curriculum and content development ability. Student mentoring and project guidance skills. Assessment and feedback capability. Research mindset and willingness to stay updated.
