Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment Type: Freelance / Contract-Based Job OverviewTime Training Center is seeking an experienced Freelance Corporate Trainer to deliver a practical training programme on the application of Artificial Intelligence in engineering drawing review.The trainer will guide civil, structural, architectural, electrical, MEP, BIM and project professionals in using AI-assisted methods to review drawings, compare revisions, identify inconsistencies, support interdisciplinary coordination, extract technical information and prepare structured review comments and checklists.The programme includes AI-supported review of civil layouts, structural plans and reinforcement drawings, architectural plans and schedules, electrical single-line diagrams, lighting and power layouts, cable routing drawings, load schedules, panel schedules, BIM coordination, document intelligence, quality assurance and practical drawing-review exercises.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomise the training materials according to the approved course outline and participant profilesDeliver engaging and technically accurate classroom-based training in Abu DhabiExplain practical AI applications in civil, structural, architectural, electrical and MEP drawing workflowsDemonstrate AI-assisted drawing interpretation, comparison, revision tracking and document analysisConduct practical exercises using sample engineering drawings, specifications, schedules and project documentsDemonstrate workflows involving BIM, CAD, PDF drawings and digital construction platformsGuide participants in preparing technical review comments, discipline-specific checklists and coordination reportsExplain the limitations of AI and the importance of engineering judgement, validation and human verificationFacilitate case studies covering drawing inconsistencies, clashes, missing information and interdisciplinary coordinationPrepare presentation slides, exercises, case studies, assessments and supporting participant materialsMaintain confidentiality when handling client drawings, project information and technical documentsSubmit the final training materials within the agreed timeline before programme deliveryRequired Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related disciplineMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in engineering design, BIM, construction, project coordination, technical drawing review or digital engineeringMinimum 3 years of corporate training, technical instruction or professional workshop facilitation experienceStrong practical knowledge of engineering drawings, design coordination and multidisciplinary review processesDemonstrated experience using AI or automation within engineering, BIM, construction or technical document workflowsAbility to review and explain drawings from more than one engineering disciplineStrong understanding of drawing revisions, technical submittals, design comments, QA/QC processes and document controlExcellent English communication, presentation and facilitation skillsCurrently based in Abu Dhabi or able to deliver face-to-face training in Abu Dhabi without relocation supportAvailability for freelance and project-based assignments
