AI Governance / Data Protection Consultant 📍 London - Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office)💰 Competitive salary + benefitsWe’re looking for an experienced AI Governance / Data Protection Consultant to join a growing team and support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on privacy operations with client-facing consultancy, helping organisations navigate complex data protection challenges in a practical and commercially focused way.🔍 What you’ll be doingActing as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients on all data protection mattersSupporting and delivering privacy programmes, including DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs, and data mappingIdentifying and managing data protection and cyber risksProviding pragmatic advice on UK GDPR and international privacy regulationsSupporting data breach response and regulatory compliance (including ICO engagement)Developing and implementing policies, governance frameworks, and privacy controlsDelivering training and awareness sessions to stakeholdersBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership✅ What we’re looking for~5+ years’ experience in data protection / privacy rolesStrong working knowledge of UK GDPR (and ideally EU/international frameworks)Hands-on experience with:DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAsData mapping & asset registersSupplier risk assessments & contractsIncident/breach management & DSARsIAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent)Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholdersStrong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skillsA pragmatic, solutions-focused approachWhy apply?Be part of a collaborative, specialist data protection teamExposure to cutting-edge topics including AI and privacy tech
