This role focuses on designing, implementing, and refining AI-driven solutions that support active portfolio management and systematic drawdown control. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with quantitative analysts, data engineers, and portfolio managers to map business requirements to AI use cases, prototyping and validating models, and overseeing deployment into production workflows. The strategist will document implementation plans, set success metrics, and monitor performance, while ensuring that AI systems align with regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards. The role also involves communicating complex technical concepts in accessible terms to stakeholders, conducting impact analyses, and recommending iterative improvements to enhance investment decision-making and operational efficiency.Qualifications Strong skills in AI and machine learning implementation, including experience with model development, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.Proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistics, with the ability to interpret financial data, develop models, and support data-driven investment decisions.Experience working with financial markets, portfolio management concepts, risk management, and systematic investment strategies.Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements, create implementation roadmaps, and manage end-to-end AI projects.Solid programming skills (e.g., Python, R, or similar languages) and familiarity with relevant libraries, data pipelines, and version control tools.Strong communication and collaboration abilities, including clear written documentation, stakeholder presentations, and cross-functional teamwork.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline.Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, analytically driven environment.Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps practices, or AI governance frameworks is a plus.Fluency in English; proficiency in Mongolian is an advantage.
