AI/Machine Learning Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTIONEkin is a global technology company operating in 40 countries with a growing team of 250+ people, delivering smart city and public safety technologies for nearly three decades.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, or related fields, Solid theoretical and hands-on knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, Advanced Python skills, with the ability to develop in C++ , Experience training models with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, Proficiency with ONNX, ONNX Runtime, TensorRT and DeepStream, Practical experience in model quantization and optimization, Ability to independently manage end-to-end model training and edge deployment, Working knowledge of MLOps practices and tooling — Docker, Git-based CI/CD, experiment tracking and model/dataset versioning (MLflow, Weights & Biases, DVC or equivalents), Strong command of OpenCV and classical image processing techniques, Comfortable working in a Linux environment,JOB DESCRIPTION Train, evaluate and improve models for object detection, classification, segmentation, pose estimation, OCR and anomaly detection tasks, Design and operate data collection, dataset curation and auto-labeling (automatic / semi-automatic annotation) pipelines, Carry out model quantization (INT8/FP16), pruning and inference optimization, Convert trained models to ONNX / TensorRT / Hailo formats and deploy them to edge devices, Build real-time inference pipelines on NVIDIA Jetson, Hailo and similar platforms, and profile their performance (FPS, latency, accuracy), Build and maintain MLOps infrastructure: experiment tracking, dataset and model versioning, reproducible training pipelines, automated evaluation and CI/CD-driven model release.
