AI/ML Consultant - Innovation Hub

We are seeking a Data & AI Consultant for a small Innovation Hub to deliver proofs of concept (PoCs) and reusable assets, for various usecases withn Financial Services, with a focus on GRC domains (AML, Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance) and Customer Experience4Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI PoCs and innovation prototypesBuild reusable technical assets, accelerators, and reference architecturesDesign governed semantic and logical data layersImplement data virtualization and federated data access patternsApply DataOps and MLOps practices for repeatable PoC deliveryDesign cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP (based on client needs)Shape GenAI / LLM PoCs (RAG, knowledge retrieval, case summarization, data discovery)Develop domain-aligned data models for AML, Risk, and ComplianceWork with businesses to identify high-impact use cases, Translate business problems into data-driven or AI solutions and run ideation workshops and innovation programsMentor and lead a small engineering team (2–5 members)Present PoC outcomes to business, IT, and compliance stakeholdersRequired Skills & ExperienceAt least 3 years of relevant work experience in (Gen) AI/ML engineering, Python, SQL and API integrations.Strong experience in:Strong foundation in data engineering - Data architecture & data modeling, Data integration & distributed data systems, Data virtualization & semantic layer designExperience in Financial Services domain - preferably in GRC domains i.e. AML, Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, Customer Experience.Experience in AI Agents / systems, architectures, frameworks etc.Strong expertise in Graph Database is preferred.Practical experience in DataOps and/or MLOps practicesExperience in leading POCs, rapid prototyping, running experimentationExperience building modular, API-driven, reusable componentsHands-on multi-cloud solution design experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)Proven experience leading small technical teamsPreferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience with data virtualization platforms - DenodoExperience with data science & AutoML platforms - DataikuExposure to AI-enabled data platforms and data fabric approachesRelevant Anthropic / cloud / data / AI certificationsJob Location: Koramangala, Bangalore.To know more about us, please visit: https://www.sciente.comWhen you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy/).Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
