We’re hiring: AI/ML Engineering Intern at Bridgegreen Upcycle, Chennai 🔋Predicting how a second-life battery will age is a hard problem. Getting it right decides whether a repurposed pack is a reliable product or a warranty liability.At Bridgegreen Upcycle, we’re building the data and modelling foundation to answer that question for real batteries in the field. We're looking for an intern who wants to work where machine learning, physics, electrochemistry and engineering insights meet.What you’ll doClean, validate, and analyse real-world battery datasetsImprove our ML models through structured experiments, benchmarking, and cross-validationBuild feature engineering and numerical modelling pipelinesRead battery and electrochemistry literature and turn it into better modelsKeep your experiments reproducible, with clean code, Git, and clear write-upsWho you areA final-year or current Master’s student in CS, AI, Data Science, Physics, Applied Maths, or EE/ME/ChemEStrong in Python, with solid ML fundamentals and comfortable with numerical methodsYou’ve built at least one project in PyTorch using CUDA/GPU, whether personal, academic, or hobbyCurious about how batteries actually degrade, and happy to work on open-ended R&D problemsWhat you’ll get Hands-on work with real battery data, exposure to scientific ML and physics-informed modelling, and close mentorship on problems that go straight into products.📍 On-site at our Recharge Center, Marai Malai Nagar, Chennai ⏳ 3 months | Starts immediatelyTo apply: Send your CV and a GitHub link or project write-up to info@bridgegreenupcycle.com.
