AI/ML Lead Engineer

Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design and implementation of AI and machine-learning components.Develop solutions for document extraction, financial line-item classification, mapping and analytics.Define model-selection, training, evaluation and deployment methodologies.Establish accuracy, confidence, explainability and human-review controls.Guide AI engineers and collaborate with data, MLOps, architecture and business teams.Support PoC experimentation and production model deployment.QualificationsBachelor’s in Computer Science or AI; relevant certifications; minimum 5 years in AI/ML development.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.Minimum five years of experience in AI/ML development.Experience with document AI, OCR, NLP, GenAI or structured data extraction.Strong Python and machine-learning framework experience.Relevant AI, cloud or machine-learning certifications preferred.Experience in banking, financial services or government projects is advantageous.
