AI/ML Software Engineer - Financial ServicesDaley And Associates is partnering with a prominent financial services firm in the Boston area to identify an AI/ML Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and deploy cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making, automation, and advanced analytics across the organization.This is a full-time opportunity paying a base salary range of $130K-$190KResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning applications from concept through production.Build and optimize machine learning and deep learning models using structured and unstructured data.Develop applications leveraging large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Design scalable APIs and backend services that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.Develop modern full-stack applications supporting AI-driven workflows.Deploy and maintain cloud-native AI solutions using AWS and containerized environments.Build intelligent automation solutions, AI agents, and advanced orchestration workflows.Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions.Research emerging AI technologies and recommend best practices for implementation.QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field preferred. Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience will also be considered.2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.Experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning applications in production environments.Financial services or investment management industry experience is a plus.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Technical SkillsExpert-level Python development.Strong experience with JavaScript and Java.Solid understanding of machine learning concepts including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.Experience with PyTorch or comparable deep learning frameworks.Hands-on experience with AWS AI and cloud services.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar container orchestration technologies.Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, and data structures.Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations, or multi-agent systems.Familiarity with modern AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.For immediate consideration, please email your resume to Ryan at Rhult@daleyaa.com with the subject line "Application - AI/ML Software Engineer"
