AI Movie Director

Stealth Startup is looking for an AI Movie Director to create high-quality cinematic videos, ads, and short-form content using the newest AI video generation tools.This is a creative role for someone who thinks like a director but is also highly technical and obsessed with generative AI. You’ll take ideas from concept to final video—developing the story, directing AI-generated scenes, maintaining character and visual consistency, and working with editors to turn generations into polished creative.What You’ll DoDirect AI-generated commercials, short films, and social contentTurn briefs and scripts into shot lists, storyboards, and visual conceptsGenerate and iterate on scenes using tools like Veo, Sora, Kling, Runway, Midjourney, Flux, and other emerging AI toolsWrite highly detailed prompts controlling characters, environments, camera movement, lighting, composition, and performanceMaintain character, product, and visual consistency across shotsExperiment with new AI filmmaking workflows and toolsWork closely with editors, creative strategists, and producersTake creative from rough concept through final deliveryProduce a high volume of creative while maintaining a strong visual standardWhat We’re Looking ForStrong understanding of filmmaking, cinematography, composition, lighting, and storytellingExtensive experience with AI image and video generationExcellent prompting and visual iteration skillsStrong creative taste and attention to detailAbility to identify why an AI generation looks wrong and quickly improve itComfortable experimenting with rapidly changing AI toolsAble to work independently and move quicklyPortfolio demonstrating exceptional AI-generated video workExperience in advertising, directing, VFX, filmmaking, motion design, or video editing is a major plusIdeal CandidateYou’re the kind of person who sees a new AI video model launch and immediately spends hours figuring out what it can do.
