Department: E-Commerce DevelopmentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Shopify Developer who knows how to leverage AI tools to build visually stunning, high-converting e-commerce stores.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, excellent UI/UX instincts, and the ability to use AI tools to accelerate development, create custom sections, implement advanced functionalities, and build premium storefront experiences.We don't just want someone who can install themes and make basic edits.

We want someone who can turn ideas into fully functional, aesthetically pleasing, and conversion-focused Shopify stores.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop premium, aesthetically pleasing Shopify storefronts with a strong focus on UI/UX and conversion rate optimization.Leverage AI tools to build custom Shopify sections, features, layouts, and functionalities.Create custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.Use AI coding assistants to speed up development, troubleshoot issues, and implement complex functionalities.Build responsive storefronts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.Develop high-converting landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and homepage experiences.Implement advanced features such as product sliders, custom animations, dynamic sections, bundles, upsells, and interactive elements.Optimize website speed, performance, and overall shopping experience.Work closely with the creative and performance marketing teams to translate marketing strategies into effective website experiences.Continuously experiment with new AI tools, technologies, and development techniques to improve output quality and efficiency.Required Technical SkillsStrong experience with Shopify and Shopify 2.0.Excellent command of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with custom Shopify theme development and theme customization.Understanding of Shopify metafields, metaobjects, sections, blocks, and dynamic sources.Ability to build custom functionalities without depending entirely on third-party apps.Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.Knowledge of Shopify apps, integrations, APIs, and third-party tools.Experience with website speed optimization and technical SEO.AI Tools & Workflow ExpertiseWe specifically want someone who knows how to use AI as a development advantage.Experience with tools such as:ChatGPTClaudeCursorLovableReplitBoltOther AI-powered coding and website development tools.You should be comfortable using AI to:Generate and refine custom Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript code.Build custom Shopify sections from scratch.Convert design references and visual concepts into functional storefronts.Debug code and troubleshoot complex Shopify issues.Create advanced website interactions and animations.Rapidly prototype and test new website layouts and functionalities.Important: Knowing how to prompt AI isn't enough.
