At elämä.ai, you will join a collaborative environment that values curiosity, continuous learning, and impact-driven work.Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid AI Pre-Sales Software Engineer role based in Heliopolis, with the flexibility to work from home part of the week. In this role, you will partner closely with sales teams to understand customer needs, design AI-based solution architectures, and create compelling technical proposals and demos. You will lead technical discovery sessions, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and build proof-of-concepts that showcase the value of elämä.ai’s products and platforms. You will respond to RFPs and RFIs, prepare documentation, and support pilots and trials to ensure successful evaluations. Day to day, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams, provide feedback from the field, and stay up to date on AI technologies so you can confidently advise prospects and customers.Qualifications Strong foundation in software engineering, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) and experience with APIs, cloud services, and integration patterns.Applied knowledge of AI/ML concepts such as machine learning workflows, data preparation, model deployment, and familiarity with common AI frameworks or platforms.Experience in technical pre-sales or customer-facing engineering, including running discovery sessions, creating solution designs, and delivering tailored technical presentations or demos.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused value propositions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand customer environments, identify gaps, and propose pragmatic AI-based solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to create concise proposals, diagrams, and technical documentation.Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Heliopolis, collaborating across sales, product, and engineering teams, and managing priorities in a fast-paced setting.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); prior experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or data/AI solutions is a plus.
