Our solutions combine 2D and 3D vision, spatial intelligence, robotic control, and edge computing to support industrial inspection, automation, autonomous robots, and next-generation humanoid platforms.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test intelligent robotic systems powered by computer vision and VLM technology. You will work across perception, motion planning, control, sensor integration, and hardware-software deployment.This role requires hands-on experience with robotic systems and the ability to translate perception outputs into safe, accurate, and reliable robot actions in real-world industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and integrate robotic systems for industrial inspection, automation, manipulation, and autonomous operation.Develop robot motion-planning, trajectory-generation, and control algorithms.Integrate 2D and 3D cameras, depth sensors, LiDAR, force-torque sensors, encoders, and other industrial sensors.Connect VLM and computer-vision outputs with robot control and decision-making systems.Develop closed-loop control systems using visual, positional, joint, and sensor feedback.Configure and program collaborative robots, industrial robotic arms, mobile robots, and humanoid platforms.Develop and maintain robotic software using ROS or ROS 2.Integrate robotic systems with industrial communication protocols, PLCs, and factory equipment.Perform robot calibration, hand-eye calibration, coordinate-frame alignment, and sensor synchronization.Build simulations and digital prototypes using Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or equivalent platforms.Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, performance measurement, and root-cause analysis.Optimize robotic systems for accuracy, latency, repeatability, stability, and safety.Support customer deployment, commissioning, training, and technical troubleshooting.Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, test procedures, and deployment reports.Collaborate with AI, computer-vision, embedded-systems, mechanical, electrical, and ASIC engineering teams.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.Practical experience developing or integrating robotic systems.Proficiency in C++ and Python.Experience with ROS or ROS 2.Understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control systems.Experience with robotic arms, collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots, or similar platforms.Familiarity with computer vision, 3D geometry, coordinate transformations, and sensor calibration.Experience working with Linux-based development environments.Ability to troubleshoot integrated hardware and software systems.Strong analytical, communication, and technical-documentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Robotics, Controls, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.Experience integrating vision-language models or AI perception systems with robots.Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT, or other edge-computing platforms.Familiarity with OpenCV, PCL, MoveIt, SLAM, depth estimation, or point-cloud processing.Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MATLAB/Simulink, or other robotics simulation tools.Knowledge of EtherCAT, CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC UA, PLCs, and industrial automation systems.Experience with Techman, Universal Robots, Doosan, FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms.Understanding of real-time control, embedded systems, FPGA acceleration, or hardware-software co-design.Knowledge of functional safety, collision avoidance, safety interlocks, and industrial robot standards.Experience deploying robotic systems in manufacturing, automotive, food processing, logistics, welding, or inspection environments.Success in This RoleThe successful candidate will:Deliver reliable robotic prototypes and customer-ready systems.Translate perception and VLM results into accurate robot actions.Reduce system latency and improve control-loop performance.Complete robotic integrations efficiently and systematically.Demonstrate measurable improvements in accuracy, productivity, safety, and deployment time.Contribute to our long-term robotics and VLM chip architecture.Working ConditionsThe position may require hands-on work with robots, cameras, sensors, industrial machinery, and electrical equipment.Occasional travel to customer or partner facilities may be required.Candidates must be comfortable supporting system installation, testing, and troubleshooting in laboratory and industrial environments.What We OfferThe opportunity to build advanced VLM-powered robotic systems.Hands-on involvement in commercial deployments and next-generation product development.Collaboration with experienced leaders in robotics, semiconductor technology, industrial automation, and manufacturing.A fast-moving environment with meaningful technical ownership.Competitive compensation and potential equity participation based on experience and position.We are an equal-opportunity employer.
