AI Software Team Lead

The office is located in Central Israel, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home (with future flexibility).Role DescriptionServing as an AI Software Team Lead (Hands-On), leading an agile squad of 4 AI/software engineers responsible for building the company's core AI infrastructure and applied intelligence solutions.Driving end-to-end technical strategy and hands-on architecture across Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous Agentic AI systems.Designing and implementing scalable, reusable enterprise AI frameworks, data integration layers, and multi-agent workflows embedded into existing cloud products and business processes.Leading production deployments: moving novel AI architectures from rapid Proof-of-Concept (PoC) stages to resilient, enterprise-grade Production environments.Architecting distributed backend services, microservices, and API integrations within modern Cloud infrastructure (specifically Azure).Providing professional mentorship, conducting architectural reviews, setting engineering standards, and aligning with product and business stakeholders to solve complex international trade domain challenges.Requirements5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong core development capabilities – Mandatory2–3 years of proven experience in team leadership or technical leadership (professional and/or people management) – MandatoryDeep, proven hands-on experience developing and shipping AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM-driven solutions – MandatoryAdvanced, hands-on programming expertise in Python – MandatoryPractical experience in building reusable AI infrastructure, AI platforms, or integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise software products – MandatoryStrong background developing LLM-based or AI-First systems, including hands-on mastery of Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, Vector Databases, and Agentic frameworks – MandatoryProven track record taking AI/software systems from PoC to scalable Production – MandatoryDeep understanding of Microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems – MandatoryPractical experience deploying and managing services within Cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure – MandatoryB.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technological field – Advantage
