AI Solution Architect

With 30+ years of experience, +6 Global locations, and +1000 employees, TEAM combines technology expertise, valuable insights, business intelligence, and a client-centered approach to address challenges in business operations, digital transformation, risk management, compliance, business continuity, and more.Our client helps leading Tier 1 banks and insurance companies transform their operations through Artificial Intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics, with a particular focus on Anti-Financial Crime (AFC).Our client is looking for an experienced Lead AI Solution Architect to take ownership of the end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise AI initiatives.You will define the overall technical blueprint, including LLM selection and orchestration, application architecture, databases, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integrations, security, and scalability.This is a senior leadership role combining deep technical architecture expertise with strong stakeholder management. You will work closely with development squads while also presenting and defending architectural decisions to executive and enterprise-level stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign the end-to-end architecture for enterprise AI solutions, covering LLMs, orchestration layers, databases, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.Define scalable and reusable enterprise integration patterns for connecting AI capabilities with existing applications, data sources, and business systems.Select appropriate LLMs, AI services, orchestration technologies, data platforms, and infrastructure components based on business and technical requirements.Ensure architecture complies with the insurer’s security, cloud infrastructure, data protection, and enterprise governance standards.Lead technical discovery and architecture workshops with business, engineering, security, infrastructure, and data stakeholders.Produce comprehensive Architecture Design Documents (ADDs) and communicate architectural decisions clearly across the organization.Provide ongoing architectural leadership to development squads, ensuring solutions are implemented consistently with the agreed technical blueprint.Identify architectural risks, dependencies, scalability constraints, and security considerations early in the delivery lifecycle.Partner with executive leadership and senior stakeholders to present, explain, and justify key architecture, security, and scalability decisions.Evaluate third-party AI platforms, tools, LLM services, and cloud APIs and provide recommendations on buy-versus-build strategies.RequirementsFluent Dutch and English.Proven significant experience in Solution, Enterprise, Cloud, or Software Architecture roles.Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-scale AI and application architectures.Strong hands-on architectural expertise with AWS and cloud-native enterprise solutions.Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLM architectures, and LLM orchestration.Experience designing complex integrations between AI services, enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.Strong understanding of security, scalability, data protection, reliability, and enterprise architecture principles.Experience defining architecture standards and providing technical guidance across multiple engineering squads.Proven experience leading technical discovery and architecture workshops.Strong experience creating and presenting Architecture Design Documents and technical blueprints.Ability to communicate complex architectural decisions to both technical audiences and executive-level stakeholders.Experience assessing technology vendors and making build-versus-buy decisions.What We OfferAt TEAM International, you’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects alongside top professionals, collaborate with international clients, and leverage the latest technologies.Work with global IT talent in a flexible engagement modelBe part of challenging, high-impact projects with modern tech stacksFull compliance with security and regulatory standardsA supportive, collaborative, and people-first environment
