AI Systems Lead — Fakieh Logistics, JeddahFakieh Logistics runs last-mile and full-chain delivery across Saudi Arabia. Our internal tooling — operations dashboards, driver hiring and shift monitoring, AI agents — was built founder-led using AI. It's functional and in use. We're hiring the person who takes it from functional to production-grade and owns it from there.What you'll ownInherit and harden. Review everything that exists — the data model, the dashboards, the automations, the integrations. Decide what's sound, what's fragile, and what has to be rebuilt. Bring the stack to a standard that holds up under live operational load and client data obligations.Agent and context engineering. Build the layer that makes our agents actually ours: personas, operating guidebooks, retrieval and context design, evaluation. Move us from generic AI assistance to systems that understand our routes, our SLAs, our captains and our clients.The ops feedback loop. Once operations launch, you're the channel between the field and the stack. Sit with ops, collect what's breaking, and ship changes weekly. This is the part of the role that never ends.What we're looking for2+ years in data science, ML, AI engineering or a closely related fieldReal depth with LLM systems - prompt and context engineering, agent design, RAG, evaluation. Hands-on with Claude specifically is a strong plusFluent reading and debugging Python and SQL. You'll direct AI to write most of it; you need to judge what comes backComfortable with relational databases and enough infrastructure literacy to reason about auth, access and deploymentTrack record of working directly with non-technical operators and translating messy operational reality into systemsEnglish (Arabic is a plus)Fully remote.
