Putting AI to work inside a private equity fund and its portfolio companiesHivest Capital is hiring the person who will make AI operational both inside the fund and inside the companies we own. On the Hivest Capital side, you re-engineer how we source, run due diligence, report and steer investments. On the portfolio side, you sit with the CEOs and top management teams, helping them build their AI roadmap and deploy it.ABOUT HIVEST CAPITAL Our ambition. Every member of the team has a key role in the development of Hivest Capital.THE ROLE AT A GLANCE Title AI & Transformation Lead Location Paris, with on-site time at portfolio companies Contract Permanent contract (CDI), full-time Experience 5 to 9 years, including at least 2 years in digital transformation / consulting Education Tier 1 engineering or business school Compensation Commensurate with experience WHAT YOU WILL DO Agentify Hivest's own processes. Automate and augment the due diligence, sourcing, reporting, investor relations and investment monitoring chain, from the first screen to the exit. Define, prioritize and deploy AI inside the portfolio companies. Identify, qualify and select the AI initiatives that create the most value, for each portfolio company, in line with their value creation plans, then set the AI roadmap with management and stay hands-on until the tools are used and the gains show up in operating performance. Bring the teams along. Push adoption within the fund and across the portfolio companies. Train the investment team, write the playbooks, select and deploy the AI tools that fit. Assess AI in due diligence. Work alongside the investment team on new opportunities and take a view on the AI angle: what the technology puts at risk in the target's model, and what upside it opens. Build the role and the structure that goes with it. The position is a creation: you will shape it year after year and, if relevant, grow the team around it, and you will put in place the right structure, teams as much as ways of working and processes, both at Hivest Capital and inside the portfolio companies.THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR Someone who can build. You are comfortable mapping a process, wiring a tool, testing a model and debugging what does not work. Someone with a view on where AI takes an organization. You understand the business model of a company, see which parts of it AI actually changes, and translate that into a roadmap a management team can execute (with your help) over 18 to 24 months. Someone with a track record of moving things. We will look closely at what you have already changed inside a company, and at what it produced. Projects that were actually launched, teams that really used them, and results you can measure. Someone who can hold the front line with the CEOs and top managers. Exposure in this role is high and direct. You will work face to face with the CEOs and top managers of our portfolio companies, challenge their priorities and help them carry out the change through their own organizations.WHAT WE EXPECT ON PAPER Education. Tier 1 engineering or business school. Total experience. 5 to 9 years. 1st experience in consulting. At least 2 years in a data, tech or digital transformation consultancy. For example: Palantir, BCG X, Bain Vector, McKinsey QuantumBlack, Artefact, Ekimetrics, Databricks or equivalent. Proven experience in an operating company. We will look first at profiles who have led the integration of AI inside an established organization, typically as Chief AI Officer or Chief Transformation Officer in a company of meaningful size. You should be able to show that you brought non-technical teams along, changed how the business works, and produced a measurable impact on operating performance. Nice to have.
