AIML Engineer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python, machine learning algorithms, data processing, and model development, with an interest in building scalable AI-driven applications.This role is suitable for entry-level candidates, recent graduates, and mid-level professionals with hands-on academic, project, internship, or professional experience in AI/ML.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, train, test, and deploy machine learning models.Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to business problems.Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.Build predictive and classification models using Python and ML frameworks.Work with structured and unstructured datasets.Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into production applications.Work with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams to define requirements.Implement model optimization and improve accuracy, scalability, and reliability.Develop APIs and services for integrating ML models into applications.Monitor deployed models and troubleshoot performance issues.Maintain documentation for models, datasets, experiments, and technical processes.Stay current with developments in generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and machine learning.Required QualificationsEntry Level:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.Strong knowledge of Python.Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.Knowledge of data structures, statistics, and basic mathematics.Experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, or similar.Academic projects, internships, or personal projects in AI/ML are highly valued.Mid Level:2–5 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or a related field.Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.Strong Python programming and ML framework experience.Experience working with cloud platforms and production ML systems is preferred.Preferred Technical SkillsProgramming: Python, SQLMachine Learning: Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorchDeep Learning: Neural Networks, CNNs, RNNs, TransformersGenerative AI: LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector DatabasesNLP: Text Classification, Embeddings, NLP PipelinesData: Pandas, NumPy, SparkDatabases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDBCloud: AWS, Azure, or Google CloudMLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, CI/CDTools: Git, Jupyter Notebook, REST APIsKey SkillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong programming fundamentalsUnderstanding of machine learning lifecycleAbility to work with large datasetsGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsWillingness to learn emerging AI technologiesTypical AI/ML ProjectsCandidates may work on:Predictive analyticsRecommendation systemsFraud detectionCustomer segmentationNatural language processingReady to Take the Next Step?Email your updated resume to: zaid@maximatek.com
