In this role, you will manage all aspects of air export shipments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery from booking through to final destination. You will contribute to maintaining efficient processes and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.In addition, you will provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective clients, ensuring clear communication and adherence to export and airline regulations while supporting a seamless shipping experience.What You’ll Do Coordinate and oversee international air export shipments from initial booking through to final delivery. Secure airfreight bookings with carriers and consolidators, ensuring capacity aligns with customer needs and operational requirements. Prepare, review, and validate export documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations. Ensure adherence to export regulations, customs requirements, and airline security procedures. Liaise with customers, overseas agents/offices, airlines, and internal departments to facilitate the smooth and timely movement of cargo. Monitor shipment progress, provide proactive status updates, and address any service issues or delays as they arise. Review freight rates, cost sheets, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and maintain profitability. Coordinate cargo pickups, warehouse activities, and shipment consolidations as required. Maintain accurate shipment records within the company’s freight management system and ensure timely data entry. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams by providing operational guidance, routing recommendations, and support with quotations. Identify and implement opportunities to improve export processes and enhance the overall customer experience. Provide departmental support and coverage during peak workloads, employee vacations, and unexpected absences. What You Bring Formal education in a related field, with CITT or CIFFA certification preferred, combined with two to four years of relevant industry experience and/or training; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Demonstrated ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and company procedures. Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and other business documentation. Effective verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with customers, colleagues, and groups within the organization. Solid mathematical aptitude, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, ratios, percentages, and measurements such as area, circumference, and volume. Proficient in the use of personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications and routine database management and data entry activities.Compensation: Salary range starting from $55,000 to $75,000 per year, with opportunities for growth and advancement based on performance and contribution.Why Join KWE?
