They help turn evidence into better decisions and practical outcomes.For this project, we are looking for a Cognitive Psychologist who can bring both scientific rigour and multidisciplinary thinking. Project OverviewProvide specialist expertise in the design, monitoring and evaluation of indoor air quality for an innovative project investigating a novel approach to reducing indoor air pollutants, with a particular focus on VOCs such as formaldehyde. The role will help ensure that the monitoring methodology, study design and resulting data are scientifically robust and representative of real-world indoor environments.Key contribution:·      Advise on the overall indoor air quality monitoring strategy and study design. ·      Define appropriate sampling locations, monitoring periods, frequency and environmental parameters. ·      Provide expertise on VOCs, formaldehyde and other relevant indoor air pollutants. ·      Review the suitability and limitations of the sensors/monitoring equipment and measurement methods being used. ·      Help establish appropriate baseline and intervention measurements to determine whether the solution is producing a measurable improvement. ·      Support interpretation of IAQ data alongside variables such as ventilation, temperature, humidity and occupancy. ·      Review results and provide an independent professional view on whether observed changes are meaningful and attributable to the intervention. ·      Contribute to the scientific methodology, final analysis and recommendations. Ideal background:Degree in environmental science, atmospheric science, environmental engineering or a related discipline, with professional experience specifically in indoor air quality assessment and monitoring, ideally including VOCs/formaldehyde, ventilation and building environments.Contract Type:Freelance/Project-BasedCompetitive compensation based on project scopeLocation: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
