With a decade of experience in the region and a team that possesses extensive knowledge of the market, we provide a fully integrated HR solution.We are currently recruiting a Aircraft Engine Configuration Support Engineer-(GP7200 & GE90 Engines) for our client based in Dubai, UAE for a Period of 12 Months.Job Purpose:This is a specialized aircraft engine focused role. We are seeking candidates with proven experience in aircraft engine configuration management, engineering, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) operations, preferably supporting GP7200, GE90, or similar commercial aircraft engines.Aircraft Engine Configuration Support Engineer will manage engine configuration activities across MRO operations, ensuring configuration accuracy, traceability, and compliance with approved workscopes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the engine lifecycle.In addition, the role will act as the EHS Focal Point for the storefront, driving safety initiatives, supporting compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement across operations.

Job Responsibilities

Configuration Management & MRO SupportMaintain and manage GP7200 and GE90 engine configurations throughout maintenance and overhaul activities.Review hardware swap requests and assess compliance with approved engine configurations and workscopes.Ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and record management of engine configurations, including part numbers, serial numbers, modifications, and service bulletins.Support configuration change control processes and ensure alignment with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams.Monitor configuration integrity and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.Cross-Functional CollaborationLiaise with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and MRO teams to ensure configuration accuracy and adherence to safety and quality standards.Provide guidance and support on configuration management best practices.Assist stakeholders in resolving configuration-related issues and implementing corrective actions.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve configuration management processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within engine maintenance and repair operations.Contribute to the development and standardization of procedures, work instructions, and configuration control processes.EHS ResponsibilitiesAct as the EHS focal point for the storefront and promote a strong safety culture.Drive closure of EHS actions and support implementation of safety improvement initiatives.Monitor compliance with EHS standards, procedures, and company requirements.Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action tracking where required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.Min 3 Years of Experience in Engine Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace MRO Operations, preferably supporting aircraft engines.Strong understanding of GP7200 and/or GE90 engine systems is highly required.Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FAA/EASA regulations.Experience using configuration management and enterprise systems such as SAP, Teamcenter, PLM, or similar platforms.Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.Maintains accurate and compliant aircraft engine configuration records.Ensures configuration integrity throughout the engine maintenance lifecycle.Supports safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant MRO operations.
