Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform aircraft inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of airframe and powerplant systems. The ideal candidate will hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and have strong aircraft maintenance experience with a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on aircraft airframe and powerplant systems.Diagnose and resolve mechanical and aircraft system issues.Follow FAA regulations, OEM maintenance procedures, and approved technical documentation.Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical publications, and electronic maintenance manuals.Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation.Use computerized maintenance and aircraft tracking systems.Ensure all work meets required safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Work independently and collaborate effectively with maintenance teams.Support flexible maintenance schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.QualificationsValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate required.High school diploma or equivalent; aviation maintenance or technical training preferred.Previous aircraft maintenance experience.Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, systems, and components.Ability to troubleshoot aircraft mechanical and system problems effectively.Strong understanding of aviation safety practices and FAA regulatory requirements.Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Preferred ExperienceExperience working on commercial, corporate, regional, military, or general aviation aircraft.Experience with specific aircraft makes/models.Experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 121/135 maintenance environment.Experience with aircraft maintenance tracking and computerized maintenance systems.Familiarity with OEM technical publications and electronic maintenance manuals.Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
