If so, look no further!We proudly maintain the fleet of aircraft in addition to numerous aircraft for our valued 3rd party customers.WORK HOURS: Modified work week, 10.5-hour shifts; 4 days on, 3 off, current shift M-Th or Tu-F 0700-1730LOCATION: Richmond (YVR) – Vancouver South Terminal, 4760 Inglis Drive, Richmond, ability to travel to other company bases or 3rd party customer locations as requiredTERM: Full-Time RegularEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent and Contract DEPARTMENT: Aerospace DepartmentRESPONSIBILITIESWork with the rest of the structures crew to perform structural MRO work for our fleet and our 3rd party customers in an efficient and cost-effective mannerCessna series including 208B, PC-12, DeHavilland DHC 2, DHC-3, DHC 6, Robinson Piston Helicopters, Quest Kodiak 100 series, Gippsland single piston, Grumman twin piston Complete work orders and internal repair job cards as required with accuracy and attention to detailProvide guidance and assistance in training and coaching of Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance EngineersOther duties as directed by the Structures Crew Chiefs, Coordinator and PRM QUALIFICATIONS/ASSETSAircraft Maintenance Engineer license (AME-S) is an asset but unlicensed technicians with a Minimum 3 years of work experience are welcome to applyA minimum of 3 years experience performing Heavy maintenance and major structural repairs on M1 rated aircraft such as the DHC-6 (Twin Otter), DHC-3 (Otter), DHC-2 (Beaver), Cessna 172 etc. Clear and proven commitment to safety (for yourself and others) in line with our “Safety First” ValueAbility to multitask, prioritize, and carry out advanced sheet metal repairs in a fast paced and safety sensitive environmentExcellent communication skills, ability, and desire to work in a close-knit, team-based environmentDemonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently Willingness to work flexible schedulesAbility to carry out physically demanding tasksUnderstanding of metallic structures and metal processes and properties requiredAbility to lead and mentor structures apprenticesManufacturing experience an assetLANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSEnglish required
