Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to ensure the continued airworthiness, reliability, and operational readiness of aircraft through the inspection, maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft systems and components. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting aircraft modifications, and ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations and manufacturer requirements. This role collaborates closely with flight operations, engineering teams, quality assurance personnel, manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to maintain the highest standards of aviation safety and operational excellence.Key responsibilities include performing routine, preventive, corrective, and heavy maintenance on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance programs and manufacturer maintenance manuals; inspecting airframes, powerplants, avionics, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, landing gear, electrical systems, flight controls, environmental control systems, and aircraft structures to verify airworthiness and operational integrity; diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics faults using specialized diagnostic equipment, maintenance software, and technical documentation; conducting component replacement, system testing, calibration, functional checks, and return-to-service procedures following approved maintenance standards; supporting aircraft modifications, upgrades, retrofits, structural repairs, and service bulletin implementation while ensuring engineering accuracy and regulatory compliance; reviewing aircraft technical logs, maintenance records, fault reports, airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), engineering orders, and technical publications to plan and execute maintenance activities; ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, safety management systems (SMS), quality management procedures, and continuing airworthiness requirements established by relevant aviation authorities; maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, inspection reports, certification records, and digital maintenance management systems; coordinating with pilots, maintenance planners, logistics teams, manufacturers, and suppliers to minimize aircraft downtime and maximize fleet availability; supporting aircraft recovery operations, ground testing, engine runs, acceptance inspections, and maintenance audits; utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), electronic technical manuals, predictive maintenance platforms, digital twins, condition monitoring systems, and data analytics to improve maintenance efficiency and reliability; participating in root cause investigations, reliability improvement programs, and continuous improvement initiatives; supporting workplace safety, environmental compliance, tool control, foreign object debris (FOD) prevention, and quality assurance programs; and staying informed about advances in aircraft technology, sustainable aviation, electric and hybrid aircraft systems, digital maintenance solutions, and international aviation best practices.The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is expected to combine advanced technical expertise with precision, analytical thinking, and a strong commitment to aviation safety. Success in this role requires exceptional troubleshooting abilities, effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development.QualificationsBachelor's degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of aircraft structures, gas turbine engines, aircraft systems, avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, landing gear, fuel systems, environmental control systems, and flight control systems.Knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, inspection procedures, structural repairs, non-destructive testing (NDT), and reliability engineering.Proficiency in interpreting Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Wiring Diagram Manuals (WDM), Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), Fault Isolation Manuals (FIM), and other technical publications.Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), electronic logbooks, digital maintenance platforms, predictive maintenance technologies, and maintenance planning software.Understanding of aviation regulations and standards including International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requirements, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) principles, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and quality management systems.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex aircraft technical issues.Excellent written, verbal, technical documentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary aviation teams.Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple maintenance activities while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality standards.High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to operational safety.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, engineering documentation tools, maintenance reporting systems, and digital collaboration platforms.Knowledge of predictive maintenance, artificial intelligence, digital twins, aircraft health monitoring systems, sustainable aviation technologies, electric propulsion, and Industry 4.0 maintenance practices is advantageous.Professional certifications or licenses such as EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML), FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, ICAO-recognized maintenance qualifications, or equivalent national aviation maintenance licenses are considered highly advantageous where applicable.Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about advances in aircraft maintenance, aviation regulations, digital engineering, maintenance technologies, safety management, sustainability initiatives, and international aerospace best practices.
