قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجRole DescriptionAn Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and certifying aircraft systems and components to ensure aircraft remain safe, reliable, and airworthy. The role involves working with mechanical, electrical, avionics, hydraulic, pneumatic, structural, and propulsion systems while following approved maintenance procedures and aviation regulations.Key responsibilities include:Performing scheduled, preventive, corrective, and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.Conducting inspections of aircraft structures, engines, landing gear, flight-control systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, fuel systems, and other aircraft components.Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, avionics, and system-related faults.Performing component replacement, repairs, adjustments, testing, and functional checks.Reviewing aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, service bulletins, technical publications, and approved maintenance data.Completing maintenance tasks in accordance with approved procedures, technical specifications, and airworthiness requirements.Conducting pre-flight, post-flight, transit, daily, weekly, and other required inspections where applicable.Supporting aircraft defect rectification and troubleshooting activities.Inspecting aircraft after maintenance to verify correct installation, configuration, functionality, and system performance.Performing maintenance on engines, auxiliary power units, electrical systems, avionics, instruments, and aircraft accessories as applicable.Supporting aircraft modifications, upgrades, inspections, component changes, and technical improvement programs.Using specialized aircraft maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, test equipment, ground-support equipment, and digital maintenance systems.Maintaining accurate aircraft technical records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, defect reports, and component documentation.Recording completed maintenance tasks and ensuring proper traceability of parts, components, tools, and work performed.Coordinating with pilots, flight operations, engineering departments, maintenance control, quality teams, suppliers, and approved maintenance organizations.Supporting aircraft recovery and troubleshooting during operational disruptions or technical events.Conducting tool control, equipment inspections, calibration checks, and workshop housekeeping.Ensuring aircraft parts and materials meet applicable specifications, traceability, storage, and serviceability requirements.Participating in aircraft maintenance planning, hangar activities, line maintenance, and heavy-maintenance programs where applicable.Investigating recurring technical defects and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions.Supporting reliability programs by identifying recurring failures, component trends, and maintenance issues.Ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and organizational standards.Participating in safety investigations, risk assessments, quality audits, and maintenance compliance activities.Supporting digital aircraft-maintenance systems, electronic technical logs, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, data analytics, and aircraft health-management technologies.Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.Following strict procedures for aircraft safety, foreign-object-debris prevention, hazardous materials, tool control, and workplace safety.Providing technical guidance to maintenance technicians and other engineering personnel where appropriate.Preparing technical reports, maintenance findings, inspection summaries, and engineering recommendations.Continuously improving aircraft reliability, maintenance efficiency, safety, compliance, and operational readiness.QualificationsBachelor's degree, diploma, or recognized technical qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Avionics, or a related discipline.Appropriate aircraft maintenance license or certification where required by the applicable aviation authority.Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, propulsion, avionics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, engineering instructions, and maintenance documentation.Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of aircraft inspection, maintenance, repair, testing, and defect-rectification procedures.Strong understanding of aviation safety, airworthiness, quality assurance, human factors, and maintenance standards.Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards such as FAA, EASA, ICAO, or other applicable regulatory frameworks is advantageous.Knowledge of aircraft maintenance software, electronic technical logs, maintenance tracking systems, and digital documentation platforms.Familiarity with aircraft health monitoring, predictive maintenance, data analytics, and emerging aviation technologies is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and technical accuracy.Ability to work effectively with pilots, engineers, technicians, maintenance control, quality teams, suppliers, and aviation authorities.Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and technical-reporting skills.Ability to work effectively under operational pressure while following approved procedures.Strong understanding of tool control, parts traceability, FOD prevention, hazardous-material handling, and maintenance
