قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجRole DescriptionAn Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and related systems. The role works with maintenance technicians, engineers, pilots, airlines, MRO organizations, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure aircraft maintenance activities meet aviation safety standards, technical requirements, quality procedures, and operational schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspections, maintenance, servicing, and repairs.Inspect aircraft structures, components, systems, and equipment to identify defects or potential issues.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems.Carry out testing, functional checks, adjustments, and operational inspections following maintenance activities.Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, technical publications, and service bulletins.Perform component replacement, modification, repair, and maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures.Ensure all maintenance work complies with approved technical documentation and aviation regulations.Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records, inspection reports, work orders, and technical documentation.Coordinate with pilots, technicians, engineers, operations teams, and other departments regarding aircraft technical issues.Monitor aircraft parts, tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance activities.Identify recurring technical problems, safety risks, defects, and opportunities for maintenance improvements.Support aircraft maintenance planning, troubleshooting, inspections, and return-to-service activities.Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of aircraft components, tools, and maintenance equipment.Participate in internal inspections, quality audits, safety programs, and regulatory compliance activities.Support compliance with GCAA, EASA, FAA, ICAO, and other applicable aviation regulations and standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree, diploma, or recognized qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related field.Relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, airline engineering, MRO, or aviation maintenance operations.Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, components, and maintenance procedures.Experience in aircraft inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and servicing.Knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and technical publications.Relevant aircraft maintenance license or certification is advantageous.Knowledge of GCAA, EASA, FAA, ICAO requirements is advantageous.Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety and quality.Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Professional, reliable, organized, proactive, and safety-conscious.
