If you're looking to join a team with Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Teamwork at the core of its values, apply today!We offer: First day medical coverage; 401(k) match after 60 days, PTO available to use immediatelyOVERVIEW/DUTIES/DESCRIPTIONPerforms/supervises repair & reclamation and maintenance support functionsPerforms end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspectionsDetects and advises on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft, removed components and related aerospace equipmentUses technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systemsInterprets/advises on maintenance procedures/policies to repair aircraft, parts and equipmentTroubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipmentRemoves, installs and operationally checks aircraft componentsMaintains, rebuilds and/or overhauls aircraft components according to technical dataConducts functional tests of repaired components and systemsSupervises and performs aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operationsOthers duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDMust speak, read, write, and understand EnglishMust have at least 7 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experienceMust be willing to travel up to 25% of the timeMust be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends as requiredMust have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders)Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelObtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certificationObtain/maintain security clearanceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIESGreat attention to detailProfessional appearance and conduct with customers, vendors and co-workersAbility to work in a fast paced, hands-on environmentFlexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learnEffective Communication SkillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTRegularly works in a hangar and a flight line environment.Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demandsAbility to lift 25 pounds
