Aircraft Seating Technician - ElectricalLocation: UAEEmployment Type: Short-Term ContractRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Seating Technician - Electrical to support the assembly, installation, maintenance, repair, modification and testing of premium aircraft seating systems. This role requires strong hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical aircraft seat components, including troubleshooting and repair of electrically operated seating systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, disassemble, inspect, test and maintain premium aircraft seating and cabin interior components.Install, remove and retrofit aircraft seat units in accordance with approved technical documentation.Perform mechanical assembly, fastening and torque tightening of seat structures and hardware.Troubleshoot, repair and maintain seat controls, motors, actuators, switches, sensors and control modules.Diagnose faults in seat power systems, USB ports, lighting and associated wiring.Repair or replace wiring, harnesses, connectors and electrical components.Conduct continuity, voltage, resistance and functional testing using approved test equipment.Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and maintenance manuals.Complete seat modifications, upgrades and retrofits in line with engineering requirements.Accurately record completed work and follow all quality and safety procedures.Required QualificationsMinimum of three years of hands-on aircraft seating experience.Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair of aircraft seats.Strong understanding of aircraft seat mechanical and electrical systems.Ability to read wiring diagrams and use multimeters confidently.Currently based in the UAE with immediate availability.Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with First Class, Business Class or other premium electrically operated seating systems.If you have the technical expertise and aircraft seating experience required, we encourage you to apply and join a high-performing aviation maintenance team.
