Apply & track with Apply EdgeHours: 07.15 - 17.00.Candidates would need to hold British nationality and have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for SC security clearance.What the role of the Aircraft Technician entails:You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system testEnsure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintainedMake sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escalate as appropriateProcedure/Standards – Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standardsSafety Management System – You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenanceContinuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) – Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management systemWhat experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Technician:Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145Experience of working on military aircraft programmesCompletion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualificationsAcademic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2675 or 2661.This really is a fantastic opportunity for an Aircraft Technician to progress their career.
