Aircraft Technician- MRO / Safety Equipment Workshop

Location: RiyadhExperience: 5–12 yearsWe are looking for an experienced Workshop Technician / Inspector – Aircraft Safety Equipment with hands-on experience in an aviation MRO, aircraft component workshop, safety equipment shop, oxygen shop or high-pressure cylinder shop.The role will focus on the inspection, testing, servicing, repair, overhaul and maintenance of aircraft emergency and safety equipment, with particular emphasis on evacuation slides/rafts, oxygen cylinders and high-pressure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection, servicing, repair, testing and overhaul of aircraft safety and emergency equipment.Carry out maintenance and repair activities on aircraft evacuation slides and slide/raft systems.Perform folding, packing and deployment-related procedures for aircraft evacuation slides/rafts in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.Inspect and service aircraft oxygen cylinders/bottles and associated components.Perform inspection, pressure testing, servicing, charging/refilling and requalification of high-pressure cylinders.Work with oxygen systems, oxygen bottles, regulators, valves and associated equipment.Carry out inspection and servicing of aircraft fire extinguishers and related safety equipment, where applicable.Identify defects and perform repairs/rectification in accordance with approved technical documentation.Conduct functional and operational testing following repair or overhaul.Prepare accurate inspection findings, repair records and maintenance documentation.Follow OEM manuals, CMMs, AMMs, service bulletins and approved maintenance procedures.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable MRO quality and aviation regulatory requirements.Follow strict safety procedures while handling oxygen, high-pressure cylinders and other hazardous materials.Coordinate with Quality/Inspection teams for release and certification of completed work.Requirements & Qualifications:5–12 years of hands-on experience in an aviation MRO, aircraft/component workshop, safety equipment shop, oxygen shop or high-pressure cylinder shop.Experience with aircraft evacuation slides/rafts, life rafts, survival equipment, oxygen cylinders/bottles, regulators, valves, high-pressure cylinders or aircraft safety equipment.Hands-on experience in inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul, pressure/hydrostatic testing, requalification, charging/refilling and functional testing of relevant equipment.Good understanding of aviation MRO procedures, workshop safety and hazardous-material handling.Familiarity with CMMs, AMMs, OEM manuals, Service Bulletins and approved maintenance procedures.Knowledge of EASA, FAA and/or GCAA Part-145 requirements is preferred.Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Aviation Maintenance, Mechanical, Aerospace or a related discipline.Relevant certification or authorization in aircraft safety equipment, oxygen systems or component maintenance will be an advantage.📩 Interested?
