Job Description – AIX / SARIE System AdministratorLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaIndustry: Banking / Financial ServicesFunction: Payment Systems Infrastructure & Production SupportEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: Minimum 5+ years; preferably with banking/payment infrastructure experienceJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced AIX P5 Series/SARIE System Administrator to provide administration, monitoring, operational support, preventive maintenance, and production support for a bank's SARIE / RTGS payment infrastructure.The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day health and availability of the IBM AIX environment and SARIE Gateway, including gateway processes, database services, communication links, message streams, daily backup and recovery activities, HSM connectivity, preventive maintenance, and contingency operations.This is a production-critical banking role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, disciplined operational procedures, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents affecting payment processing and connectivity with SAMA central systems.Key Responsibilities1. IBM AIX System Administration & Monitoring2. SARIE Gateway Administration3. SARIE Sybase Database Monitoring & Recovery Support4. Conduct Monthly Light Preventive Maintenance and Heavy Preventive Maintenance every three months5. HSM & Security Component Monitoring6. Contingency & High-Availability Support : Handle the P5 server Primary to secondary , and Primary to DR switching activitiesRequired Technical Skills1. IBM AIX experience: A certificate in AIX administration will be an added advantage 2. Banking experience : at least 2 years experience in any one of the Saudi Bank managing RTGS Gateway3. Banking & Payment Domain ExperienceCandidate Profile1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.2. 5+ years of system administration / production support experience.3. Strong hands-on experience with IBM AIX is mandatory.
