They must be capable of bridging the gap between deep mathematical theory and fully functional production code.Key Soft Skills: Longevity and stability are critical. Target candidates looking for a long-term position, who possess high curiosity and a desire to dive deep into algorithmic worlds.Flexibility Note: While 3+ years of experience is preferred, we can be highly flexible for exceptionally strong candidates.Work Environment: Hybrid (up to 2 days of working from home) available only after the completion of the onboarding/training period.Locations (Flexible): Leshem / Jerusalem / Hadera (Site location can be tailored to accommodate exceptional candidates).Role Overview: We are seeking an Algorithm Engineer to design, implement, and test advanced algorithms for mission-critical systems of national importance. As part of our R&D teams, you will tackle complex challenges in signal processing, inertial navigation, sensor fusion, optimization, estimation, and the integration of AI/Machine Learning capabilities. In this role, you will hold end-to-end ownership of the algorithmic component—from analyzing system requirements to implementation, V&V (Verification & Validation), and performance proof.Key Responsibilities:Develop advanced algorithms from initial concept to full implementation.Solve complex mathematical, statistical, and algorithmic problems.Implement algorithms in code, integrate with existing codebases, and expand current software systems.Collaborate effectively with software, system engineering, and research teams.Investigate, refine, and optimize existing solutions.Integrate AI and Machine Learning technologies as required by project needs.Job Requirements:At least 3 years of experience in algorithm development (flexible for standout candidates).Significant, hands-on experience in C++.Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.Proven experience in one or more of the following core domains:Signal ProcessingInertial Navigation Systems (INS)Sensor FusionEstimationHigh analytical capabilities, rapid self-learning skills, and a proven ability to solve complex problems independently.Advantages:Experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning.
